Charis Health Center Brings We Are Messengers to Wilson County!

Charis Health Center is hosting a benefit concert featuring the popular contemporary Christian band, We Are Messengers, on August 30th at 7:00 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre in Lebanon. The night will consist of the band’s hits, worship, and the band’s testimony.

General admissions tickets are $15 each and available by contacting Charis Health Center at 615-773-5785, or tickets can be purchased online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/we-are-messengers-live-in-concert-tickets-34635563904.

Charis will mark their 10-year anniversary in February, and the nonprofit is celebrating and thanking the community for their support by bringing an A-List artist to Wilson County.

“We’re incredibly excited to be hosting this event in our community,” said Lea Rowe, Charis Health Center’s Executive Director. “Churches and youth groups have been overwhelmingly positive about bringing the community together for the concert, especially as young people head back to school.”

There are still some sponsorship opportunities available for local businesses to participate in the event. For sponsorship information or to purchase group tickets, contact Lea Rowe at 615-773-5785.

About WE ARE MESSENGERS

We Are Messengers, an Irish worship band from Monaghan, Ireland, formed in 2015 and released their first album in the spring of 2016 on Word Records. Lead singer, Darren Mulligan, and his wife, Heidi, recently moved with their three children from Ireland to Franklin, Tenn.

The band’s debut album reached the #10 spot on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart in May 2016, and later that year they were nominated for a Dove Award for New Artist of the Year.

The We Are Messengers song, “I’ll Think About You,” is featured in the film, “The Shack,” and their single “Magnify” has been nominated for Breakout Single for the 2017 KLOVE Fan Awards.

“We try to write simple songs for a very complicated world,” Darren Mulligan said.

We Are Messengers were also showcased artists at Winter Jam 2016, one of the world’s largest tours and Christian music’s biggest tour.

About CHARIS HEALTH CENTER
