The Charis Health Center provides affordable primary health care to working uninsured residents of Wilson County, TN.
Affordable - The Charis Health Center is not a free clinic. We charge a nominal fee for each visit that is based on your income level. The fee is between $10 and $40 on a "sliding scale."
Primary Health care - The Charis Health Center is designed to handle basic medical services. If services are needed that exceed our "on site" capabilities, we attempt to match patients to service providers that have agreed to charge discounted fees to our patients.

The Charis Health Center is faith-based and offers affordable primary health care. The volunteers and staff , as servants of Jesus Christ the Healer, offer compassion and mercy to each individual to benefit them physically, mentally, and spiritually.
The daily operation of the Charis Health Center will be dedicated to the following stated purposes:
- To assist the working unisured in Wilson County in their primary health care.
- To practice the highest standards of clinical excellence.
- To provide professional, compassionate care to each individual patient while actively pursuing whole person healing on multiple levels.
- To interpret the health care needs of the working uninsured to the surrounding community.
- To pursue collaborations and relationships with others in our community to maximize the fulfillment of our mission.
- To be a faith-based model of a Christ-centered environment for staff, volunteers and patients.
